European Polo
Europe – Federation of International Polo (FIP) At an international level, polo is governed by the Federation of International Polo, which acts as the global authority overseeing the sport across more than 80 member countries. While Europe does not have a single unified continental governing body, national associations (such as those in England, France, Spain, and Italy) are all members of the FIP. The FIP is responsible for:
Promoting polo worldwide
Coordinating international competitions, including the FIP World Cup
Aligning rules between major governing bodies (HPA, AAP, USPA)
Supporting the growth of polo in emerging nations
It is recognised by the International Olympic Committee as the world governing body for polo.
